Menards Fertilizer and Ice Melt Products

A granular ready-to-use blended formula that prevents annual crabgrass and other listed annual grasses before they grow, plus provides a fertilizer feeding. Available in 5,000 sq. ft. or 15,000 sq. ft. sizes.

Menards® Premium Crabgrass Preventer with Lawn Food. A granular ready-to-use formula that provides a fertilizer feeding and prevents crabgrass in one application.

Contains polymer-coated Enhanced Efficiency Fertilizer technology. As the lawn demands nutrients, nitrogen is released slowly into the soil for plant uptake. This controlled-release approach eliminates surge growth and provides predictable feeding for over 2 months.

Contains the active ingredient dithiopyr for season-long crabgrass control with a longer application window. Apply using a spreader in the early spring prior to crabgrass germination as the first application of the growing season.

Features:

  • Contains Crab-Buster® herbicide that controls crabgrass and many other listed annual grasses and broadleaf weeds
  • Prevents crabgrass & fertilizes in one application
  • Contains controlled-release nitrogen for consistent feeding
  • Can be applied up to 4 weeks later than other pre-emergence crabgrass preventers

Benefits:

  • Controls crabgrass and suppresses weeds (listed weeds) prior to germination
